Keeping Safe

Whatever your reason for seeking out a riding centre – be it to learn to ride, for a pleasant hour’s hacking, or training up to advanced level – you will want to pick an establishment that is both reputable and well run.

To be approaved by the local council and the British Horse Society, we have to meet horse and pony welfare along with client safety standards. All establishments are insured for public liability and comply with the latest health and safety legislation. To uphold the scheme’s standards and ensure quality teaching, unannounced annual inspections are organised for your peace of mind.

Adherance to safe and welfare-conscious practices is something that we take very seriously, and we have an excellent record of safety at Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre. By choosing a BHS approved establishment you know you’ve chosen the best and you’ll be in safe hands.

Being an approved centre means:-

  • Health and Safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • We have a policy that is strictly adhered to of non-discrimination on any grounds.
  • We follow the BHS Safeguarding Policies
  • We are fully licensed with the Local Authority.
  • We are fully insured for Public and Employees Liability.

When you book on EC Pro, a full account of your needs and lesson history is recorded, as well as agreeing to lesson terms and conditions. The online system makes it easy for you to add notes to bookings regarding any extra details for the staff, and instructors can make notes on your progress. This means that if another instructor takes your lesson, they can see what you have been working on.
