Tumpy Green RDA
Riding sessions for adults and children run at Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre on Wednesday evenings or Thursday mornings - term-time only.
The riding provides physical therapy which helps people improve their health and gain more confidence and independence, while at the same time having fun.
Riders enjoy riding lessons, quiet hacks in the summer, take part in musical rides at shows and some compete at the regional and national RDA Championships.
Tumpy Green RDA Group, a charity established in 2008, has developed into a successful and growing group. Volunteers are always needed for a variety of roles:
- sidewalking – walking alongside the rider to provide encouragement and support;
- leading the horses;
- fundraising/promotional activities.
So why not contact the Group and arrange an informal visit to see the riding sessions? A warm welcome awaits.
Prospective volunteers needs to be at least 14 years old, and any volunteer over the age of 18 would need to be CRB checked.
